you commented on my photo essay re: the riverside anti-war protest. the photos in that album were ones i was assigned to do for a newspaper photo essay. the views expressed by the protesters are not necessarily my own. i realize that people have strong opinions one way or another especially about things such as the war on iraq, but i do not appreciate my guestbook being harrassed. i respect your views and i would ask for equal respect to be shown toward me. by using "you would rather them still be raping and killing" you are assuming the views of these photographs are my own. i simply thought they were good photographs and therefore wanted to share them with other photographer friends of mine. in the future, in my guest book and others, you may want to consider that you are commenting on photos themselves not on the photographer's personal views. simply because one takes a picture of saddam hussein does not mean one agrees with him. likewise with photos of protests. thank you for your consideration.
