hello again jb100r, in 2005, I had asked your permission to use your photograph A8, right-hand detail of the monument to Bernardo Philippi, in my doctoral dissertation, which you very graciously granted. I am now in the progress of publishing the dissertation with a small academic publisher and would again like to use your photograph. As use of your image in a publication is considered commercial use, the publisher requires me to secure your permission in writing. Please let me know whether you will grant this permission, and how best to go about receiving it in writing. Thanks for your help!

Excellent, thank you! It is of course for an entirely non-commercial purpose, a doctoral dissertation on German immigration to Chile. I found your picture very useful for illustrating the perception of Philippi as a founder figure. And the resolution is extraordinary! You may also want to know that I had contacted webshots about the copyright, and they told me to contact you via the guestbook. I very much appreciate your permission. Thanks again and best regards!

jb100r, I'd like to use your photograph A8, the right-hand detail of the monument showing the homage to Bernardo Philippi, as illustration in my thesis. Could you leave a note about copyright on your site, or a way for me to contact you? Thanks!
