Hi Shirley, This is a very touching album - your portrait shots are very good. My husband and I worked in a Women and Children's Emergency Shelter, retiring in just the last couple of years. Working at the shelter made me never take my home for granted. I meant to get to all your albums before the year's end but will not make it this year. I am glad however, that I found this album - it is a wonderful album to bring home the true meaning of Christmas. - Christmas Blessings, DeeAnne :)

Shirley, you have returned to our roots. Dorothea Lang would be proud of you. What a document! You've done very well.

Hi Shirley, Thank you so much for taking the time and for having the inspiration to do this album. I hope it humbles us all. There is no beauty in being homeless, or what circumstances of real life can to do real people. If every person that saw your album did a little something for a homeless person we would have 25,144 homeless people helped in some way at this moment, think of that. You took the time to help them with this album, it sure brought them back to the forefront of my mind. Thank you again for this wonderful album. Pam

Thanks for the pix of the homeless people. I downloaded some of them to use at church for a clothing drive to benefit a partner parish that serves the homeless in Pittsburgh. We call our project "Putting a Face on the Homeless," because they are real people who deserve basic respect and dignity. Also, very nice Amish, Autumn, Valley Forge, and Chester Country pix! I used to live in Chester County; it was good to see "home" again. -- #####

Hi Shirley. This album is a wonderful tribute to what could happen to any of us given the same circumstances in life. Thank you for making this.

Hi Shirley..I had been thinking about making an album just like this one and then I found yours. In Toronto where I live, we have many homeless souls and I think it is good to have an album to remind others of how fortunate they are, and to have some compassion for those whose lives have been forever altered by circumstance. There, but for the grace of God..go I. Mouse in Canada

Thank you for having the guts and heart to make this album, Shirley! The problem is so bad in one of the most wealthy countries on this planet. Most people just turn away and live their lives like it's not their problem. It is EVERYONE's problem. Thanks for caring! Marita

Hi Shirley, I know how busy you are these days after being featured. I appreciate that you spent some time in visiting my albums. Thanks for your kind comment in my Murals album. Thanks for creating this album of homeless people. Not the kind of albums that you expect many viewers or downloads but it's important to show all faces of life in USA and everywhere on this planet. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Yair.
