Having had both my husband (world war two) and my son (Vietnam), serving their country, though I did not lose either of them to combat, I say "please Mrs Sheehan, though my love ones could have suffered the same fate as your dear son, I, as a wife and mother say to you, we don't need another Hanoi Jane who prefer- red siding with North Korea, thus soothing the enemy instead of her own country .Please think of all the boys who have given their lives for their country and us at home. All the while remembering that both of the wars I saw, were through drafting. These brave and courageous lads from this horrible, but necessary encounter, have openly volunteered for it, including your brave and courgeous son.

We have a grandson fighting this war. He has left his wife and baby for a second tour and even he says "we have to fight this war over there or we will be fighting it in the streets of America." It is very possible we could lose our grandson and that would be more than I think I could bare but if we stop and think of the thousands, no telling how many thousands if you go back about twenty years and count all the men, wemon and children we have lost to these terroist, how can anyone say the war is wrong. Please people, support our wonderful troops who are fighting to keep us free because the saying is very true - "FREEDOM ISN'T FREE." We should thank God every day of our lives for the freedom He has granted us and for those why have chosen to stand and say... "NO YOU DON'T" when it comes to people killing "in the name of their God." I would have to ask, what God? The God I serve laid down His life for our freedom and for our salvation but the "God" these people "killing in the name of God" do so to gain their entrance into Heaven. Think about it!!!

I can't let this one go. You are protesting this war and you have a right to do that but how, in Gods Name can you say it is wrong. Which side are you on anyway? For me and my house, we stand for what is right. We are to pray for our leaders, not come against them. so, are you with us or are you with them? Do you have anyone in your family who has fought for this country? We have members who have been in WW2, (at Pearl when it was bombed) Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm one and now in the war we are engaged in. I am very proud of our men and women "In Uniform." I say THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS TO EACH OF THEM. They are the true heros
