  • Dad Kunz, as he was known to us campers and workers, was a real inspiration. I can remember the walks from Indian Ialand and the Point early in the morning just after the song "when morning guilds the sky". Trips up Doug mountain where my son found a few of our names that build the lean and surfaced the area some 40yrs later. Thank you Ms Sarah DeWolfe may you have a blessed life as we all will for knowing Dad Kunz.

  • Dear "Fatherhawk& quot;, I came upon your family album while searching for pictures of upperstate New York on webshots. Specifically, I had typed in "Deerfoot&qu ot; just on a whim to find out if anyone had posted any pictures of the place. Lo and behold, up popped your pictures of a place that is close to my heart. You see, my great grandfather (Mr. Kunz) founded Deerfoot 70+ years ago and it was incredibly fun to view the few pictures you posted from so many years ago.
