Album Description:
These are my personal favorite "portraits" - usually just snapped as we walked along or drove by. A few are "posed" but I most enjoy a high quality, spontaneous image. Which one(s) do you like best? Please use guestbook.

You have a wonderful album. I came across it by accident, but I'm glad I did. Your photos are inspiring, I was looking for some inspiration for a painting I wanted to do and I feel like I have found it . Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos and for the inspiration. My favorite is - I'm having lunch -

A smart idea to create an album with portraits. You managed to take pictures of interesting faces without loosing the characteristics. Well done. Cheers, Strobelix

I truly enjoyed your portraits, but especially the Happy Vietnamese Lady. In fact, I liked it so much that I did a graphite sketch based on your photo. You can see it along with others at http://community.webshots.com/user/barnchaser. I'm looking for additional photos of interesting faces as I develop my skills in this medium. Thanks for sharing!

The faces of the orphans are nearly more than one can bear....to know they have no one. Vietnam must be a very interesting place....I would love to see it for real, but your photos are great...thank you.

Some of the best facial photos that I have seen in a while. I look at what is being conveyed in the face and body in terms of presence, and these photos have some wonderful messages. Thank you for sharing them. I will be back for a visit. I think that I would like to use one of them for a poem if that is o.k.? benlames

Interesting idea. Too old or too young faces always impress. Looking forward to seeing more of them. Thanks.

Some lovely faces both old and young. My favourite would be the old Veitamese Ladies hint of a smile. Greetings from New Zealand.

Many thanks for sharing your photos. They meant a lot to me. Danang is where I was born and raised until my manhood. I really missed the Marble Mountain where I and my friends hang out during weekend.

A couple of things that would give you more pleasure in your portraits: All your subjects are dead center in your frames. Rule of thirds would help. Secondly, don't be afraid to ZOOM IN TIGHT on some of those faces that interest you. I like your work & am jealous of your traveling opportunities. John, South Carolina

You seem to have a real knack for candid portraits. Your subjects are obviously comfortable with you.

Astounding faces! A few touristy shots, but most of this album you could blow up, frame and sell as commercial quality stuff. Nice work.

Happy lady, Danang, Curious street seller, and street urchins in Cairo are my favourites. I will have to do the same from my photos .. when I learn how to scan them. Thanks for the "trip"

Happy, haunting, genuine, refined, rustic, street-wise, innocent. Just a few of the emotions you have captured so well. A powerful collection. Melinda R
