  • Interesting Album. As a regular traveler to Eastern Europe myself I can vouch for the beautiful women that live there. I married a Ukrainian only last year. I thinki it is importabnt to state why they look so elegant as compared to our own women. Beer and tattoos (western women that is)aside generally they do not own property or cars and therefore most of their capital goes on themselves in terms of clothing and cosmetics.If they had properties to maintain , cars etc I think although they would still be attractive they maybe would could afford the fashion statements.

  • For 3 years I kept telling my fellow American friends and family how beautiful and fashionable were the everyday average women of Bulgaria. My male friends asked me to take some pictures of normal women on the streets and email a few to them, which I did. They responded by asking me to take more pictures of the tall, slim, beautiful girls and women of Bulgaria. So in the summer of 2005, I started carrying a camera while walking the streets of the capital city, Sofia, where I was working, snapping candid photos of ordinary women, often missing foto opportunities of extraordinary women - because I was either too busy staring at them myself, fumbling with getting my camera out of a pocket, or wishing I had remembered to bring it with me when I went walking to shop, to meet friends, or to dinner. This site now has over 67,000 viewers and I lots of requests for more photos of these lovely ladies and teenage girls. I have been taking, preparing and editing hundreds more photos for a couple of months. Then my contract in Bulgaria ended, I lost my job, and found a new one in another counrty. So I have delayed updating and posting those much-requested second and third albums dedicated to the beautiful women of Bulgaria. I am also preparing to post a fourth album exclusively dedicated to the women of the Black Sea beaches and resorts. These next albums will have both candid and posed fotos - of both friends and perfect strangers. One woman visitor to the site thought it was creepy of me to take candid photos of women and post them to this album without the permission of the models, but I disagree. One male visitor to the site said the more beautiful the women the less brains they have. I very much disagree. I rarely met anyone in Sofia who did not have a masters degree and most were fluent in several languages. Since 8 out of 10 women were attractive, spoke excellent English, French, Russian, and Bulgarian, it would be difficult to convince me that the majority were not just as smart as they were pretty. I tend to think this album serves to show Westerners that our cold war propoganda of the fat, hairy, ugly babushka farm and factory workers were NOT accurate depictions of these truly gorgeous elegant and well educated women of Eastern Europe.
