Hello Gabriela, thank you for your many, many messages over the last 6 weeks. Two weeks ago I thought I 'had a feature' - but it was you who featured me with your wonderful messages. I so much appreciate your opinion and I love your humor and that you always see much more than anyone else. I have been busy with lots of things, mostly uploading and cleaning up my PC; and helping my daughter before and after having her second baby. Now I am a week back to regular full time work only and it feels like vacation after caring for the young family:-) . About your messages. How nice to know Bougainvilleas are growing in Japan too. They need a lot of sun and are very sensitive to low temperatures. Good afternoon, Gabriela, sorry I got rudely interrupted this morning by my internet and then the website going down! I had intially just stopped by to express my sincere appreciation for all your glowing comments on my London nightshots a few days ago.But as always I just had to peek at at least some of your great shots while I was here :D! Honestly I am really surprised how well some of my night shots turned out - it's not something I've been very successful with in the past and really only practise on vacation it seems! Main reason for the many nightshots was also the very bad rainy and stormy weather during the day, I only had very few sun breaks I could take advantage of (you should have seen me sprinting through London during those few breaks D:, trying to get at least some decent photos). I was so elated to win the challenge with my favourite photo from the trip, but it is not so much the wining to me that counts but getting so much wonderful support and feedback from the community, the feeling that you must be doing something right - it just made me feel so good and motivates you even more to produce and post better shots. Anyway, thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for all your support! Have a fantastic weekend. Marita

What a nice album! I have a broken Nikon E5700 that gave me many beautiful photos, but it broke and I bought a newer Nikon. I should really get the E5700 fixed to use as a backup camera...
