Hi Corina, I used to be part of the 3Photos a Week group but had to leave since it took so much time to visit all picture and left not enough time to visit albums by my friends. I hope that you will have to do both! Thanks for your visit to my new album of Oranges and for all your comments. I enjoyed very much reading them and I will try to reply to all your questions. It seems that you are familiar with Israeli artists and some of our history. Did you visit us in the past? Here are the answers to your questions, please let me know if I forgot any of them: #14: it seems that you really know the meaning of Jiffa… it seems that the artists wanted to show the good past as opposed to the worse future that expects us. #36: it is the same as #2 but from another angle. Who is Bernardo Scolnik? #38: it was created by an immigrant from Ethiopia #39: these are the names of the founders of Rehovot. Most of them had citrus groves. This statue was created by the mayor of Rehovot. #48: includes many blessings such as: Peace, Happines, Luck, Richness, Success, Friendship etc. #52: does not say anything too meaningful… #59: I don't know who the artist is. I did not have time to write them down when I was in the exhibition. Who is Avi Karni? #68: it was titled "Naradona" and the blue&White represents the colors of Argentina. I believe the symbol is AFA but I'm not sure. #71: contains pictures of the past and present of Rehovot. #76: meant to show that we have foreign workers that work in agriculture instead of Israelis that don't like those jobs anymore. This one is from Thailand. #87, 93: I have no clue what they represent… #97: "I felt alone in the world…" - it's part of the text, not all of it can be seen in the picture.
