Valerie graciously volunteered to be my subject while I learn a little about portrait photography. Fortunately she wanted some photos of herself for some publicity stuff, so it worked out well for both of us.

Hi Joy, portrait photography can be a lot of fun, and very challenging. Try using a flash on outdoor shots and see what it does to the background (and the subject). A willing subject, like Valerie, makes for a fun session. All the best for the New Year.
