Album Description:
I guess none of us really knew how we would impact this world. We invented the tools and equipment as we went, we even produced chemicals at purities never before heard of to create transistors. At the time we did not know we were founding Silicon Vall

Dave, Thank you so much for your invite to be friends. I am thrilled and honored to have this opportunity to meet you and get to know you as much as possible. These photos and comments open my eyes to the mircles going on all around me at a time where I lived only a few miles away from these historic and amazing discoveries. Thank you for sharing your part and the parts of others who contributed so much to so many. I also would like to take a moment here to congratulate you on your recent marriage. Yosemite is also one of my favorite places. What a fantastic place to get married. Sincerely, Susie

Dear Dave, This album gave me a rare snippet to the workings of your brain power at the peak of your career. Well, at least when you worked for Shockley. Thank you for your significant contribution that helped shape the silicon transistor - precursors of the ICs that now power our computers. You gave your best & it's an awesome contribution, to say the least! It is a rare privilege for me to have met & known you (albeit virtually) here in Webshots! As many would say of people with your stature & scientific intellect, indeed you have ... a BEAUTIFUL MIND! I pray the great country you've lived in & worked all your life will see this, and give you due honor & show their gratitude for your life work, my friend! Now as for me, you will always be fondly remembered - your fevered patriotism for your country, silicon crystals, Echipnopsis blooms, panoramic Yosemite shots, musical organ playing, and more! God bless you, my dear friend! ~~~Mary Ann
