    • On this day, hundreds of birds came to feed that day non-stop from the mid-morning to dusk. I don't know if they were the same birds or everyone knew this was the safe place to eat in a snowstorm, but I was amazed at the traffic. I think we identified cardinals, bluejays, tufted titmouses, house wrens, mourning doves, flickers, woodpeckers, buntings, vireos, black-capped chickadees, juncos, goldfinches, purple finches, house sparrows, nuthatches, and kinglets. Please let me know if any of these are incorrect or I missed a species.
