Hi; I found this page by searching for "rosin field" online.Amazed to see so much info available about Eli Whitney school. I was in the first 7TH grade class in 1953! The caption on the photo says the teacher's name is unknown. I remember one of my early teachers was Mrs Sweat,pronounced like the name for perspiration. Does anyone else remember her? If there is anyone in that area of Savannah who had recovered from polio in the early 50's,please emal me.You might have been a friend of mine! Anyone else is invited to respond.What memories this visit has awakened!
