01603, a "Silverbird" built by Pullman-Standard in 1970, and 01455, a 1963 Pullman "Redbird" meet at Ashmont Station. The 01600s (and 01500s) would subsequently be repainted red in their mid-life rehab, while the 01400s were retired by 1997. 01455 is preserved at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME. 10/29/86. © 2008 Peter Ehrlich (5132194)
