Mitch's daring swan dive into the kiddie pool of dignity was breathtaking enough for Rommie to feel that a gantlet had been thrown down. There was a new standard to meet, a new bearing to hew his compass by. As a result, Rommie made a conscious decision to let his beard grow in so that he could exhibit a King-like set of sideburns/muttonchops/facial skidmarks that were worthy of the shades.
