MRI scan of laurens hip, taken 2 weeks after she started limping. you can see that her right hip has started to collaspe due to the blood supply being cut off and the bone dying.

My daughter has this disease, it started when she was around 2 years old. It did not start out as this disease it started with JRA, and then she grew nodules on her calves. They just found this diseas in her about 1 year ago, she is now 7 years old and in physical therapy. She may have the operation, but at this time not known yet. I have to say that she delt with the pain but now she is on a stronger pain med. I really hope her outcome is good. Good luck to you and your family.
