Hi Parkward,
Yes I have other photo's of my Rolls. Send me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. The History of my car is like no other Rolls has.
I don't know how many line I can put in this box. Here goes? I purchased it for $2,000.00 it was under a pile of lumber all beat up. It took me 3 years to restore it. I went to London to the Rolls factory, for reseach. Only one person help me. I tore a American $100.00 bill in two and gave him half. Then I said I'll be back the next day. Yes he had all the paperwork I wanted.
Jack Barkly and Stepsons, a car dealer also help me purchase the leather for the interior of the car. Also they sold me 9 English 3 door 1958 Taxi cabs. (This was in 1968)for $300.00 each. Shipping to Baltmore $300.00 each. Trucking to Detroit my home town, $100.00 each. Sold the first one to one of my accounts for $4,000.00.
Back to the Rolls. At the 17th. Grand Classic in Greenfield, Michigan. It took First Place (1969) In Hershey Penn. it took First Place. (1970)
1972 Sold to the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas for $68,000.00. ( To pay off my friends marker) It was driven on stage in the Follies till 1983. In 1984 it was sold to a collector for $310,000.00
I hope who ever has it is still taken care of it.
Thanks for the interest,
H.L. Kelley
