He's happy to meet everyone and likes to lean into your legs for a good belly rub or ear scratching. Tucker's owner passed away and the family was not able to keep him. He came with an ear infection which cleared up, but is now back. He's currently on meds to help clear it up for good. Tucker is very good in the house. He settled right into his spot in the dining room the first day he came home. His foster sister's spot is in the living room and he respects that. He is not possessive and gets along great with her and with other dogs he has met. He does like to bark and chase cats, but can't catch them. His favorite toy is a soccer ball, and yes he can get it in his mouth, although he prefers to just bark at it. He gets excited when you come home and does a little whining, barking, and some howling. (It sounds like he has some Husky in him, but he is a purebred Springer). He loves to go for car rides and will jump in immediately when you open the door. (Or when strangers open their car doors.) He's active on our walks, he does pull some on the leash. He likes to play in the yard, but settles right down and is calm when you come in. Calm Springers are hard to come by. He will not swim, but likes to play in the water. He spent over an hour searching for one frog in and under the dock.
