This deer jumped the fence and broke its neck. This was on August 11, 2006, right next to Highoaks Road, about a quarter mile from our house. The next day an animal dragged it about 30 feet inside the fence and ate most of the rump. Turkey buzzards and crows feasted on it for a few days before it was just a skeleton.
