They keep searching for her all over the house. They don't know that she won't return because she passed away over a month ago. They don't know they are now Orphans looking for a new Forever home. All they know is they are alone and she's not there. Sadly, the rest of the family is unable to take them. The house where they are staying is up for sale so how much longer they can stay there is unknown. They have lived together all their lives and are very bonded. It was told to us that Thunder and Lightning have never been apart, not even for one day. Their Mom worked from home and they were her constant companions. They are very healthy, happy, active, affectionate boys with a calm mature manner. They like to swim and go for walks or run in a field or park chasing each other. The last few months of their human Mom's life she was unable to walk them so they did gain a few extra pounds but with regular exercise it should come off. Both are house trained and will alert you when they need to go out. They like playing with other dogs and children and are fine with a stray cat and the squirrels that come in the yard. Both were trained, knowing several commands but could use a refresher course. Thunder is the alpha of the two and a bit standoffish at first but warms up quickly. Lightning is the watch dog often found looking out the window and will alert you to strangers. They are hard to tell apart at first but Lightning has faint ticking on his face. Their favorite treat is chicken jerky from Costco. Their human Mom was worried about what would happen to them and her son promised he would find a home where they could stay together.
