Canoe trip down the river-BIG TWO HEARTED RIVER-of Hemingway fame. Actually it is thought that it was the Fox river, but he called it the Big Two Hearted, in his Nick Adams story... Our trip this time was from the Reed & Green Bridge campground to the mouth at the Rainbow Lodge where it empties into Lk.Superior. The water is tea colored from tannic acid. I'ts one of the top 10 Blue Ribbon trout streams in the United States
