Thanks to the discerning eye of volunteer with another Rescue, she was spotted, identified as a springer, and ESRA was called in to help. Cocoa is enjoying her time in foster care, she lives happily with two other female springers and has fit right in to her new schedule. This pretty girl is already housetrained, is not food or toy aggressive, and has a very calm demeanor. At night she sleeps contentedly on a dog bed on the bedroom floor. She's learning all about treats and is more than happy to demonstrate all the polite things she can do, such as 'sit', and 'shake' in order to earn a treat! Much of Cocoa's coat had to be clipped because she was in rough shape when she came to ESRA, but as her feathering grows back in she'll be an exceptionally beautiful girl.
