You won't find a more handsome and loveable dog than this fellow. Dewey is a work in progress. He has been in foster care since he was a pup; he has overcome shyness and distrust of humans, and is growing into a confident dog. Dewey is very smart, knows his basics, and is very eager to please. He is very dog social and likes to be in their company, he pays no mind to the cat. He doesn't really like the Dog Park and hates riding in the car. I'd guess he gets car sick, so it could be that the dog park is not nearly as good as the car ride is bad. He does enjoy walks and is very good on a lead. This youngster is still very much a puppy, and while not destructive he still does puppy stuff. He does a bit of counter surfing, and steals socks. He is housetrained, doggie door trained, and crate trained (although he has not used it for a while.) He stays home alone, while the others go to the park, and is fine. I usually find him where he was when we left… under the bed. He loves being under the bed and that's where I've learned to look for my socks. Dewey is in good health, current on all his shots, and chipped. Did I mention he is the cutest little Springer ever? All he really needs is a family to call his own.
