Variety: Bench/Show-bred Please meet Jack & Jill, who have been climbing a very tall hill for many months, trying to reach that summit - a Furever Home! These two young beauties just arrived at Springerpaw Ranch from a small rescue group who can no longer afford to keep their shelter open. Here is what we know of their past: About a year ago, Jack and Jill were found by an elderly couple running loose at Hoover Dam. At that time they were about 8 months old and far too active for these Good Samaritans, so they were turned over to rescue. They were then placed in a wonderful home until an ill family member moved in and they could no longer care for them. They went back to rescue about 6 weeks ago and are now in ESRA's care. Because we are so full here at the Ranch, Jack and Jill are being kenneled outside until a foster home or permanent family can be found. They have a 15 x 15 space complete with a pool (which they love), lots of shade, a dog house, misting system, and plenty of food and fresh, cold water, but it's not the same as living inside with the family. They have been spayed and neutered, are up-to-date on shots, crate trained, house trained, and know some basic commands. They are just as sweet as they can be, and happily took treats and gave lots of Springer kisses! These two are a beautiful, tri-color, extremely bonded, brother and sister pair. They will ONLY be adopted together - NO exceptions! While they get along with other dogs, Jack is protective of Jill, and doesn't like it when other dogs *bother* her.
