  • Yes it was. It was an old home that the owners built behind and they wanted their old home gone. All was decided the quickest and most efficient way was to take out anything of any good and to burn the rest so the volunteers could use it for training. The firemen trained for 2 days on this particular burn. Patricia, Thurston VFD
