Congratulations on the feature, DeeAnne! This can truly be appreciated close-up. The dragonfly in the photo looks just like one my cat, Moody brought in the other morning. Better that than the dove he brought in the day before. (I do have a bell on him!) I managed to catch the dove and release it into a tree where it rested a while and then flew away. Before i even saw any details, i noticed the intriguing umm DEPTH of this photograph...one can see the FOREground, and one can see the BACKground, and can almost calculate distances inbetween...in other words, there is almost a 3-D effect to this photograph...verrry niice...i also couldnt help noticing the similarity of shape between the the flower'petals and the dragonfly'wings...hehe... dragonflies have always interested me, i called them umm the Helicopters of the insect'world...LoL...CONN GRATTS on ur POTD...enjoyy...*cheerz* =)
