Age: 1 year Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 45 lbs Variety: Field-bred Come meet Cooper. He is or should be 45lbs of young Springer (he's a little chubby right now), old enough to be past the chewing stage, but young enough to be a little goofy and clumsy too. Cooper is an owner relenquishment. He's neutered, housetrained, crate trained, and understands basic commands. But he definitely needs a refresher course with leash work and the command, Come. He gets along great with my dog, and loves to play. He's good with kids too. He is quiet, and only barks when he wants to come back in the house, or if he hears something strange outside. He has a low-maintenance field coat, and will only need minimal grooming. Cooper's main fault? He is a fence jumper. A four-foot chain-link anyway, and until he has a better response to the command, Come, I'm not willing to try him in another fence. I think a six-foot would be fine, since he jumps and doesn't climb. And I think he would learn an electronic fence well too. But he doesn't mind being tied either. He is just one happy fellow. This is a package of potential if you are willing to do a little obedience work with him.
