Yes looks quite wet out there.

The poor cyclist's red raincoat doesn't appear to be keeping him dry at all the way it is flying in the wind. Nice shot!

Great through the window shot! We have had a lot of rain also. I'm glad you enjoyed the Simpson's photo. That thing was HUGE! They were larger than life. Yes the Mississippi is very wide in most places. That photo was at an odd angle. I have a couple of albums that are all Mississippi photos. Check them out when you have a spare moment. See you next week.

You choose the right angle, to do us believe that the red rainoat is a flower! Super!!! Jean-Paul

We would have been outside dancing in rain like this! But it's a very good photo - just the sort of picture I like to take whenever the chance arises.

Oh, I thought the red raincoat was a flower! I like rainy days, especially when I am indoors. And I like rainy day pictures, too. My WS friend Jean-Paul (Luxembourg) has a wonderful album of rainy days at http://news.webshots.com/album/559761352UARqxY.

Soft, moody kind of day - and the shot reflects this. Rain means we can sit back and relax a bit, unless we have to go to work of course.

No it is not a Hoya. I do not know the name of this - anyone? But I have a Hoya too and it looks different. The flowers are like made of china on a Hoya...
said myran51
I have a houseplant like that too - is yours a hoya? (actually, I don't know if that is the correct spelling) Very pretty shot. ~Sue

Yes,it looks quite rainy there. The plants makes a nice contrasting subject to the street scene!

Too much rain - not enough rain - we need to find a way to share the rain. I like your photo - pretty flower in the foreground and rain action beyond. Lovely but sad. - DeeAnne

I´d be happy to send you how much rain you want... Right now it´s over but there will be more tonight. An old lady got stuck in her car under a viaduct and drowned... Just the roof of her car was visible!
said myran51
YOU COULD SEND SOME RAIN TO UTAH IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH,..WE WOULD GLADLY TAKE IT!

You are in the right place on a day like this! At my age, indoors is the best most of the time!
