I'm an energetic, loving, liver and white English Springer Spaniel, HWP, 3 years young, in search of an LTR. I'm an exercise nut and love dog parks, romping at the lake, and playing in the yard. I like kids, I'm housetrained, and I've never chewed anything but dog toys. If you put a treat on my nose, I can flip it up and catch it. How many people do you know who can do that? Oh, and I enjoy walks on the beach at sunset. Won'tt you please adopt me? I know what you're thinking. Why doesn't a good-looking dude like me already have a home? Let me explain. First, I did everything I could to become the hunting dog my original owners dreamed of, but guns terrified me, so I was left at a shelter. Luckily, a nice lady from Springer Rescue finally came and got me. One family wanted to adopt me, but they needed me to stay in a kennel all day. I tried, but I got so bored that I dug under the fence, so they gave me back. The next adopters kept me inside their place while they were at work, but I couldn't stand being cooped up inside alone all day and got into trouble. I tried, I really did. So, here I am, looking for a Forever Home. I do great with my foster family, where they have another dog for me to hang around with while they're gone, and they take me to the dog park every day. I do best with lots of exercise. I'd love to have a dog friend to live with. I'm open to taking an obedience class (let's show off the treat-on-the-nose trick!). Also, I don't like cats, as they remind me of my hunting days.
