Not to be arrogant, but don't you think I'm one of the most handsome young males you have even seen? Since I got groomed, I can't stop prancing! I absolutely have been the best houseguest at my foster mom's house. My foster sister, Jessie, hasn't beaten me up yet. She does, however, hide my toys (which I love dearly) so that I can't find them. She can be so testy. I can play fetch and catch all day long if someone will throw the ball or toy for me. My foster mom thinks I could be the next national frisbee champion if someone took the time to show me how to play. I need a couple hours of exercise every day, whether I am playing with another dog, playing in the yard, or fetching. I am really looking for someone with the time and energy to keep up with me, but I have decided that naps in the middle of the day aren't that bad. I love my large backyard but would really love long walks and swimming which my foster mom is not able to do right now. I love swimming but I guess I can't do that after my neuter operation until my stitches heal. I can't wait to go! I love camping, too! I am great with the foster mom's granddaughter (7) and grandson (3) and love to play with them. I am gentle and will drop the toy if they will throw it again for me. I don't make them wrestle it away. I get along well with other dogs, although there are a few I meet now and then that I don't like. I'm OK with cats, too. I'd be all right as the only dog or with another friendly dog. I have been left alone in the house for several hours and have never had an accident or gotten into trouble. I am not a table or counter surfer. I do know basic commands like Sit, Come, No, etc. Probably my worst bad habit is that I drool, but then what springer doesn't, when I am playing hard. I am a serious watch dog and I will let you know when someone comes to the door. I sleep on a dog bed in the bedroom, but I also sleep on the bed when the other dog isn't looking. I need a home with a fenced yard and family members who have time to spend with me. I want to be included in family activities, especially outdoors, but I am a great cuddler, too. I like to ride in the car and I love to be with my people. Please open your heart and home to me.
