The neoprene that I decided to use is 1mm thick with nylon on one side and Glideskin on the other. This material is very stretchy, it stretches to three times it's length and the Glideskin slides over the head and hands easily and seals very well. The thicker neoprenes that I have used on other projects didn't have as much stretch, which would reduced the amount of comfort I could get. I purchased the neoprene from Macro. http://www.macrointlco.com/ Macro's description of the material is - 1.0mm Neoprene Sheet Black Xtend/Faience Blue Dura Glideskin, S Foam. Macro sell's closeout sheets of the neoprene at a much cheaper rate than their regular priced sheets.
