Variety: Bench/Show-bred Dear sweet Lady was pulled from the Riverside Animal Shelter by one of our volunteers after we were notified by the Shelter that she had been DUMPED.She,for some unknown reason, was no longer wanted by her owners.Lady's beautiful coat was in deplorable condition,flea infested and she was skin and bone.Thank God ESRA found her. She is truly a Diamond-in-the Rough.(Look at before and after pictures) She is totally housetrained,gets along wonderful with our cats and resident dogs. We feel that she was fed poeple food as she is a finicky eater.Real chicken and gravy mixed with a good quality dry kibble is doing the trick.She has gained 4 lbs in the week we've had her.She has been vetted and is in very good shape for what her life had been like before.She was dewormed,de fleaed,is up to date on all shots,microchipped and clear of heartworm.There is a cut on one of her ears at the base we're trying to heal without her having surgery to sew the area closed.Her ears were clogged shut so the vet couldn't see down the canal but we're actively working to clear the infection and blockage. This may be the reason she is hard of hearing.In a few weeks we'll know for sure if it is hearing loss. Whether or not it is makes no difference as she comes with hand jestures. She is a very loving little Springer that loves and thrives on human companionship.Whoever adopts her will be getting a wonderful Springer small in statute but BIG in heart.What more could you ask for. Lady will be in foster care til we feel her ears and cut are healed and she has put a little more weight on her frail little body. In the meantime,come visit and see if you are a good match for her. She is not at all hyper and loves to be in your lap.A crate is a safe haven for her and she goes in on her own just to hang out. Car rides are a joy with her calmly beside you and on a leash she does just fine.No pulling. DO NOT APPLY if your application has not been submitted and approved.
