Ribersborg beach, locally called "Ribban" and in the tourist brochures "The Scandinavian Copacabana", is a long sandy beach close to the city centre. One of very few beaches of its kind in Europe that is situated so close to the city centre. It is late in the afternoon... People are heading home after a beautiful day at the beach!

Really a lovely place to go! It's wonderful that it is so accessible for people in the city. Great picture with the grasses in the foreground. I can see the curve of the earth's surface at the horizon. I would love to see this place.

Beautiful, crisp and clean...On first shot the twisted torso looks like a swirl of white paper...or a cigarette pushed in the sand:) Each time I see it I see different images.....
