This is a closer view of the intake tubing. I have removed the CCV vent housing from the intake and replaced it with a piece of 4" exhuast pipe. This opens up the intake tubing by a pretty good amount. this can only be done on 94.5 to 97 truck if they have the updated intake boot which is black instead of the orange stock boot.This mod will keep the oil build up from collecting around any of the rubber boost on the Powerstroke engines. Whether they are intercooler or not it is benficial.
