Jorgen Kock built a new and stately city hall as well as a home for himself, Kockska huset (The Jorgen Kocks's House) next to Stortorget. Kockska huset, one of the most well-preserved 16th century buildings in Malmo, is of red brick with a richly ornamented stepped gable. Today, one of the best restaurants in Malmo, Arstiderna is located below the cellar vault.
