It was a dinner slash photo session at the YMCA. They had an impromptu studio set up in this high celinged hall. But the lighting was atrocious, in my humble amateur photog opinion: smack in front of the model, rock hard lighting, sharp shadows. The whole setup had that awful, flat, '70's sitcom' look to it. Fought tooth and nail to get this shot - switched off one of the strobes, and turned down the other, before being shot down by all the other middle aged photog guys at the shoot. Who ARE these guys? They prefer all their pictures looking like their Grade School Grad Photo?
