Picked up as a stray around Ionia, Michigan way. I was a scaredy cat and jumped at the drop of a hat. Wrapped my paws around my foster pal's waist Away from starvation and bad things I'd faced. Into her eyes I'd gaze, safe and so amazed. She thinks I was an outside guy, maybe that's why I'm shy. Afraid of noises, storms, and lightning is definitely my thing. But I have begun to trust, like to be by you, and it's a must. Sadly my heartworm test was not the best. Treatment is going well and soon I should be really swell. Meantime, I must be very still, no excitement, if you will. I am perfect while in my crate, love it, never bark, just await. In three weeks when I'm well, I can run and jump a spell. I know 'Buster', 'sit', 'stay' and 'outside' but cannot always abide. Need more practice with that 'outside' stuff-so far not quite enough. I also know 'off', 'eat', and 'treat'. For me that's quite a feat. In short, a dog like me, both loving, small, and sweet, is hard to beat! I've been microchipped, neutered, and had my shots and now all I've got Is to find someone special just like you to take me home and remain true blue. There's not a mean streak in me, no siree! I like dogs, don't know cats, love people of all size and lots of pats. Training would be good, so I can better learn all I should. Please take a chance on me, Buster.
