Album Info:
Age: 16 weeks Gender: Female Color: Black and White Weight: 8 pounds Variety: Field Bred 10/26/07: Adopted. Well, now I am a beautiful 16 week old girl that enjoys having someone hold me and lavish as much love as they can on me. It is not that my foster family does not show me love, but I feel that it is now time for me to have a family of my own. I have had all of my shots, and the doctor says I am going to grow to be a very healthy girl. I am still great with children, other dogs, and I am even best friends with the kitties that live next door. I am doing ok with housetraining, but if I could have the individualized attention, I know I would be able to do a great job. I am also sharing a crate with my sister Gracie, but I would really like to have a crate of my own. As you can tell from my new pictures, it does not look like I am going to get the Springer feathering and am just a bit smaller than other Springers my age (probably thanks to some weird ancestor in my father's line), but if I end up having short hair, you will not have to worry about shedding in the summer. I am a lovely girl and I really would like to have a forever home. Please make sure that you already have an approved adoption application on file before inquiring on me, so that I can be matched with you. I am now just about twelve weeks old. My, I have grown to be such a lovable little country girl. I have the charm of a southern belle and the heartiness of a farmer's daughter. My foster family's 2 1/2 year old would equate me to one of his cuddly teddy bears. I love having my fosters care for me, but I am now hankering for a home of my own. Courtney is one of the five puppies from Felicia's litter. She can be described as a playful but shy, not very vocal or mouthy, and a very sweet little girl. She is quiet natured and loves to roll up into your lap and be held. She can be playful and loves to explore but also likes to find a nice cuddly spot and watch the others play. She has been socialized with other dogs, cats, and young children and does incredibly well. She is very, very good with toddlers and other young children. She is a very wonderful young puppy. Courtney has been dewormed, had her first batches of puppy shots, is on heartworm and flea preventative, and has been microchipped. Because she is too young to spay, there will be a clause on her adoption contract requiring her adoptive family to spay her by at least six months of age. Courtney has also been personality profiled and will be matched with the family that has a lifestyle compatible to her personality. She will be ready to go to her forever home between 9 1/2 and 10 weeks of age.
