Age: 6 months Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 22 lbs Variety: Field-bred Little Miss Emma comes from a loving household where she was the princess. She is very cute, cuddly, and like most princesses, spoiled rotten. She is learning how to behave properly in the house and how to take her turn for treats, praise and tummy rubs. Like a typical puppy her age, she is exuberant in her play, but is calm most other times. She loves to pull the ears and play with (annoy?) the doggie friends in our pack. Emma plays with the cat (although the cat does not agree on the fun factor) and is great around children. Play is a very important part of her life, so she needs regular exercise and additional training to develop her full potential as a great companion. Emma is house-trained and crate-trained and does well in the kennel. She is up to date on shots and vaccinations. We are working on her leash manners using a Gentle Leader, but she has been good on leash too. Emma will be spayed on July 12 and will be ready to adopt soon after. We are hoping that Emma will find an active family who can give her the exercise she needs. She also needs a family that is committed to developing her manners and working on obedience. Emma has the potential to become a great dog; she needs a family willing to put in the time and the effort to make it happen.
