Not wanting to get involved with a "frame-off" I manually stripped the frame (lot's of time on the back)...cab mounts were solid. Used "aircraft" stripper from my local AutoZone. This was the best product I found and in most places it took 4 coats to finally get down to the bare metal. Hitting the painted areas with a DA with 80 grit paper cut through the surface oxidation and gave the stripper a better "bite". Had to spend a lot of time with a respirator strapped to my face. A dust mask just didn't do the job.
