He and his father Newman have just come into rescue. Like Kramer on Seinfeld, Kramer has a fun and crazy personality. He thinks everything about his foster home is FUN! Kramer loves playing in the pool in the backyard. He also goes nuts for any kind of toy. He prefers the stuffed toys but also loves balls. He doesn't always bring them back, but may run all over the lawn yodeling with joy. He thinks the kids in the house are great! He is special friends with the 5 year old, who has been teaching him commands. He loves everyone in the family. He is a bit much for the toddler. He loves him, but gets too excited and has knocked him down. Kids 5 and up would be best. He does well with the cats. He would like to be friends but that's not going to happen. He also plays well with the other dogs. He likes to plop on Newman and other dogs. Kramer does well in the fenced back yard, does well in the kennel, and well in the house. For such a young boy, it's neat that he can settle down so well inside. He knows sit, off, no, shake, etc. He is housetrained and hasn't been destructive at all. It would be good for him to have more obedience as he really likes to learn. When I originally met Kramer at the shelter, he was very timid. He was especially worried about his neck or back end being touched. While he is still a little cautious, he did great at the vet appt and seems to love any attention he can get. Because Kramer and Newman were from a bad situation, they require a special loving touch. Kramer is healthy, neutered, and up to date on everything. He did have to be shaved down as he was terribly matted. He has mild ear infections but they are clearing up. Kramer will do well in most situations. He would need to be with another dog. He is bonded to all the dogs in the household, especially Newman. He is a great little guy with a lot of zest for life.
