Variety: Bench/Show-Bred Mack came into ESRA due to his family having health and work issues and they couldn't take care of him or have enough time for him. Mack is a 6 year old, liver and white, neutered male. He is healthy and up to date on all shots. Mack gets along well with other dogs, cats and older children. He has had basic obedience training, knows sit, lie down, stay and come. He likes to retrieve and if you tell him to drop something that is in his mouth, he will drop it. He walks well on a leash. He notices squirrels and rabbits in the yard but ignores them. He is not much for playing with toys but prefers toys that are hard. His mission in life is to please people. Mack is a Secret Service dog; he follows his foster mom everywhere, including down the basement steps to do the laundry. He likes to sleep beside the bed at night. Because Mack is so devoted to his people (person), it would be nice if he could go to a home where at least one person in the family would be home with him most of the day or he would enjoy going to work or along on errands with you. He loves car rides. Mack does not like to be kenneled, he is so good in the house, the kennel has not had to be used. He is housetrained. He loves to be walked, given belly rubs, getting brushed and wants to give and get love. Mack has such a charming personality that it is easy to adore him.
