Opps....Ford blue engine paint

Album Info:
Had plenty left over so tried it! Engine looked silly.....stock Chevy gray was in the future. The 2x4 up front was my solution to turning the engine over. The original harmonic balancer had "crank dogs" for using a hand crank...the H/B's are pressed (Hammered) on and have no bolt to grab onto when hand-turning over the engine. This was cured by drilling out the crank to accept a "Small Block Chevy" bolt. By using a similarly threaded longer stud with a couple thick washers, a little grease for lubrication, I can now use a puller to remove the H/B and the stud and washers to torque it back on. The SBC bolt just gives me a little added security and a place to wrench the engine over.
