Album Info:

Turning Torso, a remarkable building that has got world attention for its uniqueness. Beyond imagination, the most exciting building in Northern Europe, some people mean in the world! The design is based on a sculpture by Santiago Calatrava called Twisting Torso. The residential tower is meant to be seen as a free standing sculptural element inspired by the human body. It uses nine five-story cubes that twist as it rises; the top-most segment is twisted ninety degrees clockwise with respect to the ground floor. Turning Torso was ready in 2005.

    • This is so interesting Myran. You have got a great picture of it as well! It made me dizzy looking from the bottom to how far you can see! What an amazing thing how they can build structures like this! Twisted at the top..mmm..no one could have predicted such a thing some years back! This is built this way...wow!
