Not run away like you may be thinking, but I have never had the chance to just run and play before, when I get outside, I just have to show off my athletic abilities and go, go, go. I am looking for my forever home now, and let me take a moment to describe what I am looking for in my forever family. I would like an active family who has some kids who would love to throw the ball non stop for me, or just run beside me and TRY to keep up to me, and then come in for a good supper and settle in on the couch for a snuggle fest and movie. Gotta have popcorn too! Then when it's bedtime, I'll make sure I go along and tuck those babies in with you and sleep right next to them and protect them ALL night long. I am good watch dog too, I bark at strangers, and then when you say it's ok, I go back to playing. I get along with all other dogs and the resident felines are fine too as long as they don't sneak attack ME, because then I'll get them back. I do like to chase rabbits, and other things though, so you would either have to have a fenced in yard, or make sure, I am protected when that urge arises. I am housetrained, walk well on a leash, and love to ride in a car. I also know a few basic commands, but work with me here, I AM only 1 year old.
