The mom is a medical resident with a one-year-old, and a new baby on the way, and there is no time for Cosmo. He is really great with kids. He is very gentle with the one year old daughter. He would benefit from a family that has older children who can play and spend time with him. His favorite activity is chasing the tennis ball. He loves to go hiking, and is really fun to take on trips. He rides in his crate in a car without any problems. He has spent time with other dogs without problems. He's gone to doggy daycare a few times, and the owners have not received any problem reports. He also spent time with a relative's lab, and they got along beautifully. He has never been around cats. He knows his basic commands, and is housetrained. Right now he does not stay in the house. He stays in an outside kennel with access to a crate, and at night he stays in the garage. But before the family moved, they lived in an apartment and Cosmo was indoors with them. So he does know how to live indoors, and will happily go back to indoor living. Cosmo is healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on shots. He does get ear infections once in a while. He is regularly groomed, and does well at the groomer's. Our volunteer, who met Cosmo, said he has the most wonderful temperament and is just adorable. Please consider giving Cosmo a loving home where there is more time for him.
