Her unusual markings can't hide the fact that she's all Springer. What a striking face and intense eyes! She has grown a beautiful white gleaming coat with a sprinkle of brown ticking since her rescue. She's had very little experience doing normal doggie things, so she's enjoying learning about the good life in her foster home in New Mexico. She plays enthusiastically with her foster Springer sister Sophie, has learned to enjoy rawhide and bones, and is showing a bit of curiosity about her toys. Annabel is quiet, shy and eager to understand what you want from her. She's very responsive on the leash, always checking in with her human about what's coming next. She's learned her basic commands, is an easy dog to care for and doesn't get into mischief. She likes to be close to her human, and is attentive to everything in her environment. She needs a forever home that will guide her gently and patiently along in her efforts to become part of a family. Annabel's ideal forever home would be a quiet household whose people will keep her company much of the day, and take her for long walks. Doggie play romps are her favorite so having a canine sibling or friend would be a big plus. Annabel would prefer to stay in New Mexico, but she is also interested in what lies beyond.
