I still have lots of energy for a ten year old and can keep up on any walk, even in the mountains. My foster Mom says I'm a totally sweet, loving ESS, and I'd have to agree. I do love attention, cuddling, and keeping track of where you are at all times. Good thing I always heel. I may be completely deaf, but hand signals work pretty good. At least you won't hear me barking at nothing! I like being around my foster siblings, but have to be reminded not to chase cats. I would be an ace at keeping birds out of the garden! His foster mom tells us: Once you look into Owen's adoring eyes, see the gray around the muzzle, and stroke the soft, downy fur, you're hooked. He only wants to be loved and will offer his undying devotion in exchange. Owen hasn't met a person he doesn't like, nor a dog that he can't bring around. Owen epitomizes the term of elderly gentleman. That's exactly what he is....an elderly gentle dog looking for a person to devote himself to.
