Variety: Field-Bred This young boy is ready to find his forever home where he can romp and play-and someone to 'talk'-this boy is a 'grinner' and a TALKER, woo-wooing to anyone that will listen to what he has to say! Leo is a terrific young dog! Although he is occasionally a little 'active' in the house, he is well-behaved and settles down quickly. He is completely housetrained, crate trained, doesn't counter-surf, rarely gets on the furniture or beds (only when there is someone to cuddle with).and he LOVES to go in the car. He gets along well with other dogs, in fact he would really like having another dog to play with-or maybe some kids! We have had him around children as young as three, and although exuberant and overly-eager to give kisses, he is wonderful with them. He is also fine with cats, giving a little half-hearted chase when they scamper through the house, but mostly wanting them to play with him. He DESPERATELY wants someone to play with him! Leo is a typical young, very active Springer male. He would do best with a family that is dog (preferably Springer) savvy that will give him the guidance he needs to help him become the wonderful companion that he wants to be. It would also be great if he had a fenced yard to play in so he could run and play with family and friends!
