Album Info:

After the glue has set well, the heat tape can be applied. With an iron set to the HIGH setting, the tape can be applied. I found it helpful to practice on some scrap pieces of neoprene to get a feel for the time it takes to melt the glue on the tape so that it makes a secure bond. Care must be taken when applying the heat tape, so that the nylon on the neoprene isn't melted or damaged from the iron. The nylon surface of the neoprene is what gives it all of it's strength. Only use as much heat as needed to melt the glue. I start by heating down the center of the tape first, then go back and heat the edges.
